It seems that fortunecity is placing ads not only at the top of the page, but in the middle and splitting the site into two parts. I am now looking at some cheap ad-free hosts, but this will do for now.

The site is now up!! A friend turned me to a site called clantemplates.com. They have great free templates that are all alternative browser friendly. Thanks NorthStar!!.
